The Glen Abbey neighbourhood is bordered to the South by the QEW, to the North by Upper Middle, to the West by Bronte Road, to the East by Sixteen Mile Creek.

Recreation

The Glen Abbey Golf Course anchors this exciting community, which also features many other amenities for those with sports on the mind.

At the corner of Third Line and Glen Abbey Gate is the Glen Abbey Community Center, which includes skating rinks, a swimming pool, squash courts and a library. Right next door, is the Oakville Gymnastics Club. There many schools and parks, perfect for families.

There are a number of trails and parks near Glen Abbey most notably the extensive trail systems of Sixteen Mile Creek and within Bronte Provincial Park.  There are a number of smaller trails within Glen Abbey itself including 14 mile Creek, Indian Ridge trail, McCraney Trail, Taplow Creek Trail, Merchants Trail, Glen Abbey Trail, Old Abbey Trail, Dorval Trail and Birchtree Trail.

Shopping isn’t limited to the area with plenty of shopping areas just outside the neighbourhood in nearby Burlington, downtown Oakville and the uptown core (Trafalgar and Dundas).
